A Message from Our Practice Administrator

As Practice Administrator, I can assure you that we are constantly working together to meet the challenges of health care today. It is important that we meet the clinical and administrative needs of our patients and their families.

Medical Offices today are faced with administrative challenges that are time consuming for both the patient and staff. The new HIPAA Laws require us to inform patients of our privacy practices and require us to follow a detailed protocol for every patient in our practice. In addition, insurance companies are now designing plans specific to employer groups – making it impossible for medical offices to keep track of the specifics of these plans. Insurance requirements and computerized billing have made it necessary to obtain more information from the patient than before and many times this information is not readily available from patients. Please understand that all these changes require more time, paperwork and patience from everyone involved.
